Booties!!

Hello!
Fall is approaching fast and it is time to put away the open-toe wedges and sandals. One of my favorite shoe styles for fall is the bootie. The boots that only to your ankles. They come in flats, heels, and wedge form. They are to die for and come in so many styles from army inspired to classic chic. I can only imagine how many pairs I am going to get for fall, booties are a way of shoe life.
These Jeffrey Campbell booties go for $149. These shoes are like abstract art and I am obsessed. The wedge is perfect for height but since they are closed in your feet can handle the chilly fall weather. The multiple straps are an awesome detail and the buckle alternates from circles to rectangles. These are bananas!

These Cooperative booties go for $69. Another look into the booty trend. These are more of the rugged boots but the lace gives it a girly touch. I love how you can wear these with jeans or even with a skirt and they still look adorable. Shows that your bad girl boots can be even cuter with lace details.

These Anthropologie boots go for $178. Love the army green color and the laceup fronts. The cutouts are a hot trend and adding them in shoe form is a hot finish. These are 5in wedges are perfect for giving you some height. These shoes give you the army trend, cutouts, and are booties; three trends I love.

These Barrow booties go for $250. These edge up the typical booties with the colors and the hooks that go with the laces. These boots come in black, cognac, dark brown, and grey suede. They pair uniquely colored laces with each pair of boots which give it that kick. The hooks give it a sexy vibe and is totally unexpected.
These Free People Zoso booties go for $250. The two tone coloring paired with this six inch heel is sexy. The quilted leather patch and metal buckles add some edge to the shoe. You have two-tone, leather, quilt, and buckles all in one shoe. These are perfect for the office or even out on a date.

These Jeffrey Campbell booty go for $198. These suede booties are perfect for the chilly weather. These five inch heel come in grey, black, and wine colors. The buttons on the side are perfect detail and give it a strong feel. Edge these up with skinny pants or girly with colored stockings and sweater dress.

These John Fluevog booties go for $398. They come in green and black, I prefer the green better since it corresponds with the wood bottom better. These boots are totally army inspired with the double buckle, stud detailing, and wood heel. These can be styled to be army, edgy, and even girly. These can be worn for every season. Shorts for summer, tights+skirt for fall, and pants+sweater+blazer combo for winter.

These Jeffrey Campbell booties go for $159.95. These boots are a bit chunkier which is perfect to match all the chunky knits you'll be wearing. The lace-up front and block heel are simple yet still edgy. They come in red, black, tan, and navy. These are perfect for a day out and can be worn to the office.

The Brit Boot from Free People go for $248. These boots come in grey and taupe. The studs with layered buckle makes them comfortable yet cute. The distressed color gives it the "I've had these for years and I don't try at all" feel. These are a more casual, hangout boot. They can be edged up with tight jeans and a blazer or cardigan.

These Chloe booties go for $335. These are a chic winter socks in heel form. Love! They come in black, grey, and blush (pictured). The gold laces are a perfect accent. The knit it such a cute touch and is perfect  for winter. The top is supposed to resemble your knit socks except these are attached to the boot. Warmth and style in one.

These Ash booties go for $375. These shoes are your winter boots turned into heel form. The fur detailing gives it a chic feel and the buckles keep the vibe more casual. The shoes are lined to keep the toes warm! Warmth and hotness in one shoe are major.

These Stuart Weitzman booties go for $525. These are a splurge piece and are totally me. The sequins, silk laces, and peep toe heels. Perfect to dress up for cocktail hour or go on a hot date.

As we can see booties are like love and my shoe obsession. They come in flats and heels, wedges to peep toes, and army inspired to edgy. There are so many options and ways to style them. They can be used for all seasons and every occasion. Obsession: Booties. The question is how many pairs I'll be rocking this season.

10 fashion trends that you should burn!

Hello!
"A fashion is merely a form of ugliness so unbearable that we are compelled to alter it every six months," Oscar Wilde. As we know in fashion there are plenty of trends and styles that we experiment with. Some of these trends are totally hot and can be transformed for each season. Some of them should not be worn at all nor should you be seen in public with them in public. These trends should be burned or buried immediatly! Here are ten (horrible) trends these celebs were photographed in. Instead of wearing them maybe they should action them off for charity..

Guys in tank tops.
The picture on the left is actually my brother. Unfortunately, I could not find any celebrities in tank tops since all celebrities are hot with good bodies. Skinny, gangly boys should not be wearing tank tops especially when they have a farmers tan! It looks sloppy and way to hicksville. If you are like Taylor Lautner, pictured right, then I give you permission to wear tank tops or go shirtless.

Bra-age.
If you go out with a white shirt and brightly colored bra people will know be able to see. As pictured on Drew Barrymore, you can see her neon green bra. Any bra-age can be tacky and slutty. Bra straps showing, bra peeking out of your shirt, and just wearing a bra alone are all bad trends.

Mom Jeans.
Jessica Simpson came under critique for her mom jeans back in 2009. I still see mom jeans around two years later and this trend won't die! Ladies, there are plenty of other style of jeans that are cute and comfortable like the boyfriend jeans and jeggings. Mom jeans are a no, even if you are technically a mom it doesn't give you an exception to wear them.

Sweatpants with sayings on the booty.
This photo has three of the worst trends: sweatpants, short Uggs, and sweatpants tucked into uggs. I admit, I used to wear the sweatpants with Juicy or a clothing stores name on my booty. That was a few years ago and back when my booty was half the size it is now. This trend was popular a few years back and was a way to show off the booty while being in sweats. I'm all for sweats but keep them simple. Please don't wear sweats tucked into Uggs, it's not stylish or cute.

                                                                 Gaudy Jewelry.
If you watch "Jerseycilicious" or "Jersey Shore", the people from NJ have a bad reputation when it comes to fashion. The latest trend for these Jersey girls is the oversized, statement jewelry. Olivia, pictured above, is from the show "Jerseylicious" and is a fashion disaster. From her lip necklace to her ten bedazzled animal rings it is just tacky. This fad needs to die so us Jersey girls aren't known as the fashion disasters of the world.

To Short Shorts.
The latest jean fad is to wear your jean shorts super short. It is to the point that we know what kind of underwear you are wearing, how you're shaved down there, and what down there looks like. Miley Cyrus may be blowing out her candles but someone behind her just got a show of her butt cheeks! This trend should be burned. Girls, make your shorts a bit longer and cover the goods!

The Shredded Shirt.
I can't fathom how someone can walk out of the house when they look like an animal attacked them, I feel the need to call animal control! I get it's sexy to show skin with cutouts but when it looks as though an animal or a pair of scissors went to town on your outfit then this trend needs to stop. You spent money on a shirt that is destroyed, that makes a lot of sense.

Clown Makeup.
As girls, we love to wear makeup to enhance our beauty. Sometimes our makeup trends can go a little overboard and we look like a one women circus. We're not sure if these celebs are clowns or oompa loompas! Leighteen Meester, pictured right, goes for the vampire white look with the bright red lips and purple/ gold eye shadow. I'm not sure whether she's on the red carpet or she's Bozo the clown. Snooki, pictured left, goes for the overly bronzed skin and smokey eye. Willy Wonka called and wants his oompa loompa back. Girls, let your natural beauty show!

Thong sticking out, AKA Whale Tail.
I know fashion mishaps do happen but when your thong is that much out of your booty then this is no mistake. This fashion trend was big in the early 2000's and can still be spotted today. This whale tail or thong sticking out of your pants is appalling and not sexy. Underwear is supposed to be worn under close, hence the underpants.

Weather Confused.
And last but not least, the trend of getting your seasons mixed up in your style. Snooki, pictured above, has winter fur boots on her feet but jean shorts on with it. Then you have the girls that wear shorts with hoodies. I am not sure if these people are bipolar or just can't decide what season they want to dress for. This trend needs to die ASAP so we can all know which season we are in and know that these people are not mentally insane.
Keep it classy fashionistas!

2011 Teen Choice Awards!

Hello!
Yesterday, was the 2011 Teen Choice Awards and I have the low down on what the stars were wearing.

Demi Lovato was in a BCBG Max Azria dress with Christian Louboutin heels. I love that she was daring and went with a yellow dress. I am not fan of the fishtail that is coming out of the back and the yellow shoes are overkill. She should of used a nude or creme pump to elongate her legs instead of making her look like Big Bird.

Blake Lively is in Gucci with Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I love this burnt orange color on Blake and it really brings out the blonde in her hair. The dress is on the simple side especially for Blake but it's classy. I love how she made her accessories a bit wild with the leopard print shoes and jewelry.

Fergie is in a Dolce & Gabbana dress with Christian Louboutin heels. This dress is defiantly daring. I think the dress is too young especially for someone of Fergie's age and a teen celeb should wear this. The stars and the bright yellow are not meant for someone above the age of twenty-two. I do give her credit that she does look great in this mini and her body can pull it off.

Selena Gomez is in an Erin Fetherston dress and Brian Atwood heels. I like this dress except for the sash coming off the side, it looks like they forgot to put the rest of her skirt on. Selena does look amazing as always though and her makeup is gorg.

Cameron Diaz in ALC dress, Burakuyan shoes, Chloe clutch, and Vherrier rings. Cameron has a killer body and this dress shoes it off. The mini shows off her toned legs and the strapless shows off those killer arms. I wish the dress was the peach color of her shoes to give her a pop of color. The dress is safe and I wish she used some color.

Kim Kardashian in Givenchy with Christian Louboutin heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I really like this dress but I feel like I've seen it before. The skirt with the full feathers and it is to formal for a teen event. I do think that Kim looks sleek and classic though.

Emma Stone in Dior with Lanvin shoes. As much as I love color blocking this does not work. She looks almost medieval with the copper accents and the creme color. It just does not work especially when she has a killer body.

Taylor Swift in Raphael Cennamo with Fendi shoes. Taylor looks adorable as always. This reminds me of a Marilyn Monroe with this dress especially the full skirt. My favorite part of the ensemble is the
crystalized belt!

Zoe Saldana in Lanvin with Alexander McQueen shoes. I love this printed dress and think she looks fresh yet age appropriate. I am not a fan of this belt paired with the print nor do I like the clunky shoes. She should of gone for a gladiator look for shoes.

Ashley Greene in Givenchy dress and shoes. I am not a fan of this outfit, it's just off. The belt in the middle of the shirt cuts her off and the shirt is to long. The shoes are to clunky and thick. The whole outfit doesn't work and it's just to thick and you can see the line of where her skirt ends.

Nina Dobrev in a D&G dress with  Ferragamo heels. This dress is totally adorable and is the three C's of cute, comfortable, and classy. I would of love to seen her in a nude heel to complement her legs.

Rachel Bilson in Chloe with Brian Atwood heels. I love this outfit!! I love the flow of the dress and the drama on top. My favorite part are the shoes with their spikes, totally hot.

Avril Lavigne in Abbey Dawn. Ugh, this outfit looks so cheap! The mini with the mesh on top is tacky. The shoes are a statement piece of the whole ensemble. This is to wishy washy from her rocker/ skateboarder edge.

Lucy Hale in Cengiz Abasogly and Giuseppe Zanotti heels. I am loving this outfit! I love the abstract design on the dress and how it looks like there's crystals on it. The design does look like squiggles but a high end version like the product of Kate Middleton and Prince Williams child.

Tyra Banks in Thierry Mugler jumpsuit. As much as I love Tyra she needs to give it up. She no longer has her model body and can't be going around in a leather catsuit. She needs to leave this for the bedroom or movies.

Raven Symone. She recently lost a lot of weight and comes out in this office look, bore! She's out an awards show and should of jazzed it up instead of looking like she came from a meeting. The black pencil skirt and blazer with the white top and feather earrings is a snoozeville.

Kat Graham. Now this is a statement piece! The dress is something I could totally wear as my skating costume with the silver and all the sequins and jewels. The fringe hanging off the shoulders are to much. Maybe it was supposed to be a fringe skirt but they forgot to put it on. Take away all the fringe then this outfit may not of been such a disaster.

Kendall Jenner in Aurelio Costarella and YSl shoes. I am not a fan of the hair but I am loving this dress. This plum color is to die for and cutouts are such a hot trend. When you can model and have the body like Kendall then nothing looks bad either.

Rebecca Black. This is a party dress done wrong. It looks like she's going to a sweet 16 and not a red carpet event. Is it me or does she look a little heavy? Maybe she should stop "getting down on Friday"!

Nautical inspired!!

Hello!
My favorite summer trend is the nautical look. It is the perfect look whether you're on a boat in the Hamptons or wish you were there. It gives you that sailor inspired look without having to the captain of a ship. It's the perfect summer look and can be worn so many different ways. Love!
This Pixie Market top goes for $56. I love the abstractness of the stripes and how they are going in all different directions. The synched in waist plus flowy top is perfect to hide your stomach if that's you problem area. Another hot factor is the scooped out back. Pair w white tight pants and heels for a BBQ. Add a mini skirt and kitten heels for a sexy night out.

This Urban Outfitters cardigan goes $44. I love how you have the white/ blue stripes and then there's the red stripe just at the end. This is a very patriotic cardigan and perfect to put over an outfit. Pair with a bandeau and high shorts. Pair with a dress and wedges for a night time look.

These Anthropology heels go for $378. These shoes are perfect to be the fashion captain! The stripes are classy and the rope bow is a perfect accent. These shoes are perfect to wear to the office or out on a boat. Pair with a skirt and blazer for the office or a sweetheart neck dress.

These Free People shorts are on sale for $39.95. These shorts can be your cool yet chic casual shorts. The drawstring makes it more casual but the pleating adds a chicness. Add a solid tank for a classic look.

This Kit & Pearl headband goes for $6.90. The nautical trend can be worn as an accessory too. The bow gives a girly vibes and stripes are always cute.
This Pixie Market romper goes for $80. Sweet, my love for rompers is now in a nautical trend. I love the back and how it dips down into the v. The 3/4 length sleeves are totally unexpected and adorable. Pair this with a belt to break it up and you won't look overly striped.

This Asos dress goes for $86.20. I love the different techniques that are used in this from the full skirt, cropped overlay, and peter pan collar. Another wow factor is the back. This is super cute and girly.
This Asos skirt goes for $60.34. I love the full skirt and pleating details on this skirt. The high waisted is in right now. Pair with a tank top, blazer, and flats for the office.
This Alice + Olivia dress goes for $297. The blousey top keeps it from being overly tight but the tight skirt gives you a sexy vibe. The keyhole back is perfect to show some back cleavage. This is a simple ensemble that all you need to do is add heels and a statement piece to look hot.

This Pauls Boutique bag goes for $129.29. Another way that you can have nautical in an accessory. I love the keychain to give it a fun vibe to the bag and the gold plate is a classy accent. This bag won't overshadow your outfit and is perfect for a day look or nighttime BBQ.

These wedges go for£28.00. I love these wedges and how you have the white rope at the top. Peep toe sling
backs are perfect for summer

This Joseph Emmanuelle jacket goes for $324.47. I love this double breasted jacket and it is the perfect naval inspired blazer. Another love factor is the anchors on the buttons, such a fab accent. This is perfect to dress up an outfit and to make your outfit more serious.

The nautical trend can be worn in so many differents ways from dresses, blazers, and accessories. This trend is age appropriate for everyone and can be worn so many different ways. Bring out your inner sailer even if you don't own a boat or are afraid of the water. Be the captain of fashion!
