Maxi Dresses!

Hi!
My latest obsession, the maxi dress. This style has been 'in' for awhile but they usually had more of a boho vibe, as seen being worn by Nichole Richie. While I was away I saw a lot of people using maxi's as bathing suit cover ups and it was tres cute. Enews had a style segment on today and they were using maxi dresses, I died. The slouchy beach cover up can be converted into a totally glam outfit for parties or just hanging with friends. The maxi is no longer boho, it is for every girl and style from the bright colors to bold prints.
This dress comes in yellow and coral pink (pictured) and goes for $69. I am loving the pop of color and it's the perfect pop of color. The strapless top shows off those toned and tan shoulders and the detail on the bust draws the attention up, always a plus! I love where the detail lays because it hits at the smallest point of your waist. Wear this with wedges and a statement necklace for night or tone it down as a bikini coverup with some sandals.

This dress comes in pink and blue print or a plain grey and goes for $59.99. I am in love with the blue print (pictured). I admit, I wasn't a fan at first since the underskirt ended so much higher but make it your own and cut it off if needed. Now I find it tres adorable! It is so simple and whimsical and perfect for every type of girl. Make it boho chic with gladiators and a pendent necklace. Girly with heels and a belt. Or rocker with some bangles and a studded belt.
This dress from HM is $49.95. I love the simplicity of this dress and the black is classic. This dress has the va-va-voom with cleavage and the strapey open back. Your bearing it all on top but the dress is longer so your covered and still hot without being overly sexy. Wear with pumps and bangles for a date or wedges with statement earrings for girls night out.

This maxi goes for $139. I am in love with whites for summer especially since it highlights my tan skin! This dress looks oh so innocent but the lace adds that ounce of sexiness. I love how you're covered but the lace is see through so your skin is peeking through without revealing anything. Edge it up with some boots and a bangle/ belt or turn it boho with gladiators and a braided belt.

This dress goes for $94 and reminds me of a dress I saw on Rachel Zoe in one of her episodes. I love how dark this dress is in the black with the lace detail. The deep V gives you a shot of cleavage without bearing to much. Loving the billowy, mesh sleeves and how the dress moves in the pictures. Wear it with a black hat and wedges or turn it out with pumps and a statement piece of jewelry.

This Diane Von Furstenberg maxi is on sale for $339.50. This is an "I love" piece. I am loving the print and the colors. Another fav thing is the criss-crossed back and belt in the fabric. Wear these with wedges and cocktail ring/ bangles for a date or sandals for a day look with a floppy hat.

This Free people maxi goes for $108 and comes in navy, orange, and ivory. Personally, the ivory and navy are my favs! I love how simple the dress is with just the simplest of details on it. The lace detail along the edges isn't overwhelming and the crinkled tier gives it "I'm hot without trying" vibe. Edge it up with a belt and studded gladiators or make it more urban with lot's of jewelry (shown).

This Free People dress goes for $128 and reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. I am loving this maxi. It is simple with clean lines but totally sexy. The synched waist highlights the girls and the deep V (front and back) shows of some skin. This dress can be perfect for a picnic with wedges and cocktail ring or to party it up with some heels and statement earrings.

This Free People maxi goes for $198. Loving the print and the fact that it comes in three different colors! The halter look is hot and unexpected and the circle in the middle makes it sexy. This dress is defiantly bold so you'll need major attitude to work this piece! Keep your accessories minimal since this dress takes over and you want this to be your statement.

This Milly dress is an "I die" and a splurge as it goes for $495. This lemon color is perfect for summer and is a nice pop of color. I am loving the high slit on the leg to give it that sexy vibe and you get to show some skin. Another love is the ruffles which makes this outfit girly and sweet. Dress this up with heels or wear it for a weekend in the Hampton's with wedges and a sun hat.
Maxi dresses are the perfect go-to outfit, especially for summer! They aren't just a beach cover up, with the right accessories can be the perfect party dress. Maxi's can be worn by the edgy rocker girl, the preppy, boho chic, and even the classic beauties. My warning, not every maxi looks and be careful that they don't make you look boxy or to wide. Work those maki's and find the perfect accessories and shoes to complement your killer outfit!

Gladiator sandals!!

Hello!
One of my favorite things about summer fashion is the shoes! Confession, I have a major shoe fetish. I love all types of shoes from flats to pumps! One of my latest obsessions is the gladiator sandal. These caged shoes are super hot and comfortable. I love how these shoes can be totally casual or super sexy. The gladiator sandal has become a huge trend over the past year and now have funky accents like studs or zippers. Wear them with shorts, sun dresses, and skirts! J'adore!
This Miss KG gladiators goes for $86.20. They come in brown or gold but the brown is tres chic. I love the detail on the bands so they're not all the same and so typical. There's an alternation of weaves, braids, and zigzag. The buttons on top add are sleek and hardware makes everything more more edgy.

These Pixie Market gladiators go for $83. I love these shoes, they have the conservative oxford, eco-friendly canvas, yet caged sexy vibe. These are super cute and I love the lace up front. These are perfect for the boho or hippie girl. These are perfect for concerts with shorts and oversized T-shirt or hanging with your guy in a cute floral romper!
htmlhttp://www.pixiemarket.com/store/naturalcagesandal-p-3188.html

These sandals go for $85. The shoe design is more conservative then some with just plain straps. What makes this pop is the color! I love the cherry red color and it is the perfect pop of color for any outfit. Everyone loves a red pump but a red gladiator is perfect for summer!

These Jeffrey Cambpell sandals go for $99 and come in black and brown. These shoes are perfect for that edgy rocker. The straps are tightly bound which gives them an edge since your not showing skin. The studs add the extreme edge and rocker look to it. You have to have some oomph to rock these shoes. Wear them with acid washed shorts to complete the rocker vibe.
Marias gladiators are on sale for $59.99. It comes in silver, gold, and black, I personally like the black best. These are super sleek and are a bit more sophisticated to dress up. I am in love with the lace-up front and the symmetrical cutouts. Wear these with a dress for date night or for during the day with tailored shorts.

These Point and Glimmer gladiators go for $99.95. I love the statement center piece of all the crystals! It makes this a statement piece and jewels are always a cute touch. The thin straps really accentuate the center and makes you look at the bling. The black is sleek and this can be worn for a summer night out.
These gladiator's go for $18.20 and come in black, silver, and chestnut. These shoes  are perfect for the girl on a budget. Half the straps are metallic and the other a more solid color and the crisscrossing of straps is totally cute. These are super cute and would be great for looking hot post beach!
These gladiators are on sale for $14.70. These are another budget friendly pair of shoes and are perfect for a classier event. The twists make it more glam and the fabric looks to have a bit of sparkle. These are perfect if you have a date or a party. This is the glam of a shoe without having to wear a heel.
These are from Forever 21 for $22.80. These come in silver and brown, the brown is much cuter though! I love the beads on these shoes and are a totally unexpected accent. This look is perfect for walking around after the beach or even with a sundress for pre-night fun!

These Pazla gladiators are on sale for $66. I am obsessed with these sandals!! I love the ankle straps and how sleek the straps are. The straps don't outshine and the ankle statement. Another plus is that it comes in four different colors, white, black, olive, and tan. Love!
Splurge! $450 Jimmy Choo gladiators!! Most sandals have the zipper on the back but I love how they mix it up and put the zipper on the front. These are classic and sophisticated and can be worn for day, work, or night. West them with cropped boy friend jeans, maxi dress, or a skirt. These work for everything and the patent leather is always a nice touch.

Gladiators are one of the hottest shoes for summer! I love how you don't have to hide your feet and they're so comfortable. Get the plain straps or add some spice with studs and zippers. Another plus is you can wear them casually with shorts, polished with tailored pants or a pencil skirt, or doll it up with a dress or skirt. Love!!

Fashion Bucket List!!

 Hello!
I admit, I have a problem with the amount I love fashion and clothes. I recently started a fashion bucket list for all the fashion that I want to buy before I die. I am in love with high end designers but unfortunately don't have the paycheck to afford my love, or designer duds. These are the nine items that I am in love with and have been obsessing over.

After I started to follow Marchesa on Twitter, I fell in love with their bridal line. Personally, I do not want to get married but I do want one of these dresses. These dresses may be from the bridal line but I would totally pull it off for another occasion, especially the short dresses. The dresses are so over the top and have the "wow" factor. They are dramatic yet couture. These dresses may be for a wedding but it's good to have all eyes on you, even if it's not your 'big' day.

Christian Louboutin heels, specifically the bedazzled heels. The red sole let's you know that it is a Louboutin shoe and he is known for his heels being at least 4.5in high. I love wearing heels no matter how painful they are. My motto is, "the higher the better" and "pain is beauty". Heels can make anyone look good and they give you that sexy confidence boost. I currently have a pair of Louboutin's as my backroung for my Iphone and my computer. I'm just a tad obsessed! I am going to get a pair of bedazzled Louboutins before I hit mid-life crisis. It is my mission! I have an obsession for sparkles, heels, and combine them, heaven!

Everyone knows the signature Chanel logo of the intertwined  double C's. Chanel is known for their classic, tailored looks. I personally love Chanel's sophisticated look and how polished their clothes are. Her clothes are very sleek but have a dramatic edge. I would die to wear a pantsuit and the quilted Chanel bag.

The Herve Leger bandage dress. The bandage dress is tight and forms to your body. This would be the perfect date night dress or 'notice me' dress. The form fitting shows off every curve and angle to your body. The boys love the bandage dress and it is the sexiest dress without having to bare it all. This dress will make you have to wear the tightest spanks you own but if you can pull off this tight dress then do it. You'll be the hottest person of the night or at least get the most attention. I am determined to get this dress before I'm to fat or wrinkly!

Louis Vuitton luggage. I first fell in love with this luggage when I saw an MTV show on Kimora Lee Simmon's house and she has the largest Louis Vuitton collection. Then I saw one of the figure skaters with a Louis Vuitton bag and I literally died. This takes the typical LV symbol to the next level. Anyone can have a Louis Vuitton bag but luggage takes it to the next level. No one has cute luggage, it's always huge nylon bags. A Louis Vuitton suitcase would make your luggage chic and fashionable.

Burberry trench coat. I remember when I was younger I'd see skating coaches with the Burberry trench with the plaid on the collar and cuffed wrist. To me it was the epidemy of class and that polished look. Burberry has expanded their designers on the trench coat to the full plaid (pictured), print (pictured), or wool/ cashmere coat with fur skirt. I love how classic the Burberry trench is and how it is the most iconic brand for the trench look.

I fell in love with Oscar de la Renta gowns when I started blogging about the award shows this year. On every red carpet a handful of celebs have on an Oscar gown. His lines are sleek and his gowns flatter a women's body. He has such diversity in his gowns from the over the top full skirts or full shoulders to the form fitting gowns. I love how he plays with colors (he gets inspiration from Spanish roots!), prints, sequins, and fabrics. I want to wear one of his gowns to an event or the red carpet, if I ever get that famous!

Alexander McQueen creation. Alexander McQueen is a genius in his craft and I love his "I don't give a sh!t" attitude. His runway shows are dramatic and his looks make you want more. In reality, some of his looks aren't the most realistic but I want this designer legend in my closet. He pushes the limits in fashion from the armadillo heels (pictured) to Lady Gaga at the 2010 MTV Awards in the Renaissance dress. His work is like a piece of art and I want a piece of it!
RIP Alexander McQueen

Swarovski crystal jewelry. I fell in love with Swarovski crystals from my skating dresses. We put thousands of crystals on our dresses and I love anything shiny or crystalfied. I bedazzle everything from my phone to my sneakers. When I saw that Swarovski was doing more than plain crystals grosses I nearly died. I want to get a piece of jewelry that is completely blinged out. Diamonds are a girls best friend and I want my best friend to be the biggest and the best.

Nail polish!

Hello!
One of the hottest accessories is already on your body, your nails!! Put some polish on and spruce them up to be an accessory. You can make them whatever color you want and add funky designs to add some spunk. Match your nails to your outfit, pick a color to match your mood, or match them to the season. You can have a solid color, flowers, french, stripes, and the list goes on and on! To be honest, I can't even remember the last time my nails weren't painted. With any accessory, there's trends and styles. I have found the hottest colors to wear especially for the summer! We have colors from the bright almost obnoxious, the fun sorbets, and even the more subdued mauve.
*Look at http://www.chinaglaze.com/try-me/ for all the colors.*

Flyin' High! This color is fab! It is so bright and perfect pop. It isn't to blue or green which is makes it the perfect blend.

Happy Go Lucky! Yellow can be an iffy color but with dark/ tan skin it looks amazing! It gives your nails this burst without your nails looking diseased. Your nails will be sunny!

Lemon Fizz! This is a more subdued version of a yellow and a perfect sorbet color. It reminds me of a banana or laffy taffy. Your nails will be sugar sweet!

Pool Party! I love how bright this color is and is sort of obnoxious, in a good way. It's in between a pink and red so you can pair it with either color. Perfect for a bright blush on your nails.

Re-fresh Mint! I fell in love with this color last year in the Chanel line. I am still in love! This color is fresh and has that minty kick.

Sun Worshiper! This orange color is a pop of color and isn't to bright. It reminds me of the orange of sunsets which is perfect for summer nights.

White Out! White is the perfect color to make a tan stand out. This color is crisp and clean. A plus is that any color design will look great on top!

Purple Panic! This color is perfect! It pops, is magenta, and can look great all year. I love this color and I have so many outfits that would look good with this color.

Mediterranean Charm! This orange is bright without going overboard. It is the perfect beach color without looking like a cone.

Rainstorm! I love this color because it is a purple periwinkle. Also, it reminds me of a dress I wore. it has girly touch but you still get color from it.

Celtic Sun! This is the perfect overly bright yellow! You may need sunglasses for these nails but they'll defiantly get you noticed!

In The Lime Light! This green color is perfect without going overboard. It looks like it even has a bit of sparkly which I love.

Cords! I am in love with grey polish. Black is a bit to dark for summer and white gets dirty easily so this is perfect for inbetween those two shades. I want to make this the hottest new trend.

Secret Periwinkle. I think this is more of a lilac color. Either way it is so whimsical and pretty. This sorbet color is feminine and the color is perfect for summer.

Wild Mink! This color is a bit more subdued and reminds me of pink sand. It's the perfect beach color and isn't to overpowering.

Kiwi Kool-ada! This is the neon version of green. This is for the daring girl and is perfect to reminisce from all those days laying in the grass.

Towel Boy Toy! I have to say the name is amazing, love. This color is as bright as the ocean and has a summery feel. The color is bright but it'll give you something to talk about especially to your "towel boy toy".
Pink Voltage! I love this hot pink color. Pink is my favorite color too! It is girly and bubbly plus the brightness makes it bold and fun.

Gold Digger! I love this creme color and the gold specks make it rich. If this is light then it could be a perfect accent to your nails and can be the perfect touch of glitter.

Nova! This is the silver sparkly version. Another great accent to nails or the perfect way to have diva disco-ball nails. Sparkles are a girls best friend or the perfect way to add to your nails.

I love these new Sally Hanson stickers!! They are stickers that act as nail polish. I love how easy they are and how great they look. Plus, you won't need to wait for your polish to dry or getting the pain all over.

These are the perfect colors for summer!! Let your nails be the perfect accessory and add to your outfit. Plain nails are so boring so spruce them up with a funky color, sparkles, or even a design. There are so many options and colors to choose from, let your inna diva shine in your nails.
