PLL Swimwear fashion show!!

Hello!
One of the hottest shows and books right now is "Pretty Little Liars". I am in obsessed with the TV/ book series and I am a huge fan. In last nights episode of "Pretty Little Liars", they had a fashion show. I admit, I was tres confused on how we went from fun, beachwear looks to the edgy, rocker looks. Neverless, I was in love with the beach inspired looks and thought they looked fab! I have recreated the beach inspired look. Some of the looks are similar and some we've added a bit of a twist.
                                                                          Aria:
Here Aria has on a Diane Von Furstenberg maxi dress, red bikini top, statement necklace, red hoop earrings, bracelet, and striped sunhat.

This white dress is from Odylyne and is on sale for $210. This dress has the low v-neck, ruffles, and floral print.

This Victoria Secret bikini top is on sale for $28. This is a plain red halter top bikini with a gold accent on the strap. http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265530875189&c=Page&cid=1265541234131&pagename=vsdWrapper&search=true

These earrings are from Forever 21 and go for $3.80. Aria has on red hoop earrings and here we recreate that look for an affordable price.
This Asos floppy hat is on sale for $17.24. Aria had a different color stripe in her hat but they are both striped sunhats.
This Forever 21 necklace goes for $4.80. Aria had a huge statement necklace, instead I kept the circular shape but sized it down.
These bracelets are from Topshop and go for $20. This would be the perfect accessory to Aria's outfit.

                                                                         Hannah:
For Hannah's catwalk she has on a copper bikini top, brown leather shorts, tie-dye coverup, bangle, statement necklace, and headband.

This Thayer Fabu is on sale for $107.50. This is a more turned down version of Hannah's look but still fab.
This Forever 21 shorts go for $14.80. Hannah is wearing a shinier (possibly leather) shorts but these shorts are a bit more versatile and wearable for everyday fashion.
This Topshop triangle bikini goes for $20. This copper shade is perfect for every skin color.
This Deepa Gurnani headband goes for $55. I love how Hannah wears the headband across her head and this headband has crystals to give it a fun, girly vibe.
This Urban Outfitters earrings go for $29. Hannah looked to have on statement, dangly earrings. These are perfect for any outfit!
This Urban Outfitters bracelet goes for $28. It is the perfect statement piece.
This Betsey Johnson necklace is on sale for $79.90. Hannah has a circular statement piece but this Betsey necklace edges it up and brings it to the next level.

Emily:

Emily is wearing a sundress with statement necklace and bracelet.
This Rory Beca dress is similar to Emily's dress with the split in the skirt and v-neck. I love the simplicity of the dress!
This Juliet & Company necklace is on sale for $42. This necklace doesn't have as many layers as Emily's but it is the perfect shade!
This CC Skye bracelet is a splurge at $291. I love this bangle and it would look killer with this look.

Spencer:

Spencer's swim inspired look is complete with striped shorts, orange tank, statement necklace, floppy hat, and jacket.
These Asos shorts go for $27.58. Spencer's stripes are a tad larger then these but it is the same concept and totally nautical chic.
This Ecote shirt goes for $59. Spencer's shirt had a bit more of a synched in waist but this is the perfect casual top.

This Helmut Lang jacket is a splurge piece at $444.50.

This Asos hat is on sale for $52.58. Spencer had the single red stripe under the brim of her hat but this is a different take with multiple black stripes underneath the floppy hat.
This Asos belt goes for $34.48. This striped belt is perfect! It is a similar to Spencer's but has the pink/red/white stripes instead of just the red/ white combo.
This Marie-Laure necklace goes for $160. It is similar in color to Spencer's and they are both dangly but this has less beading and can polish off an outfit.

Color Blocking!!

 Hello!
The hottest trend right now is colorblocking. Camilla Belle, Kim Kardashian, and Rihanna are just a few of the celebs that have worn this trend. We have always been taught to keep the colors in the same family or make sure they correspond when we put an outfit together. Colorblocking breaks every one of these rules and let's you pair any color combo without looking like a hot mess. Colorblocking has expanded to include dresses, bags, shoes, and even jewelry. Love!
I interned for Giambattista Valli for his Pre-Fall 2011 line and I first hand know that Giambattista is the king of colorblocking! He uses this trend for almost of his collections. The picture on the left is from his 2011 Fall RTW and the right is from his 2012 Resort collection. He is inspiration on how to work the colorblock!
This Giambattista Valli dress is from his 2011 Pre-Fall collection. It is a splurge item at $1900. This is the high fashion of colorblocking. Along with colorblocking he uses the python print. I loved this dress on the models and the python print is to die for!

This Lucca Couture dress goes for $69 and also comes in blue/black. I love how I get two trends in one, the cutout and colorblock! The side cutout is perfect to give it a sexy feel and shows some skin. The bustier top is perfect for added details and to show off the girls. Wear this for a night out with a pair of heels and statement piece like a cuffed bangle.
This dress is $59 and comes in orange, maroon, turquoise, and purple. I love the sweetheart neckline so that way you can show off the cleavage and shoulders. You have the bustier top and the side paneling is perfect to give attention to your upper half. Dress this up with heels and a statement cocktail ring or earrings. Keep it more casual with peep toe booties and biker jacket.

This Asos goes for $68.96. This dress is so unique and a bold statement. I love the asymmetrical neckline, cutout, and the rushed knot in the center. Most colorblocking only uses two colors but this goes out of the typical ways and uses three. This dress is perfect for a casual occasions with a pair of wedges.
This Asos jumpsuit goes for $112.05. This colorblock jumpsuit is adorable and reminds me of a more affordable version of Gucci's Spring 2011 RTW line. The bandeau top is draped and is perfect for hiding the stomach pooch. The pleat detailing is a nice accent and the pockets are perfect to hide your phone. Pair these with a pair of pumps and a bangle/ cocktail ring. Even cut these pants into shorts for a cute outfit!

This Asos dress is on sale for $34.48. I love how this dress is so simple and 'girls next door'. The blue and baby yellow is a perfect summer dress. I love the cutouts on this dress since we have one in the front and the keyhole slip in the back. The deep v-neck is perfect to show off the girls and the buttons give it a girly feel. Wear this to a picnic with gladiators and bangles or for night with wedges.

This Poltock & Walsh coat is on sale for $295.65. This is the perfect way to show that colorblocking can be amazing even in coat form! The high neck is perfect to keep the cold away and the swing cut shape is perfect for that fun feel. The mustard pockets are a fun pop of color. Must have for winter!

These Mark by Marc Jacobs bangles are on sale for $47.60 and it comes in blue, cream/ brass, and red/ brass. The colorblocking has made its way into jewelry and that includes bangles! These bangles are super cute and a perfect piece to any outfit. Make sure your outfit isn't to wild so that way your colorblock jewelry can be the statement piece.
These Dune Gizella heels are on sale for $93.09. I love the criss-crossing straps and the design that they make. Another fab thing is the chunky heel and is perfect for the girl who has trouble walking in heels. Pair these statement shoes with a more muted outfit to make them the wow factor of your outfit.
This Asos leather handbag is $129.29. Colorblocking has even turned into bag form! This is perfect for a fall or even a pop of color for your spring bag. This satchel is perfect because it has a short handle to carry around or the longer band to put over your shoulder.

These Giuseppe Zanotti heels are your splurge at $1495. I have the trend of colorblocking and the fact that they are covered in Swarovski crystals make these equivalent to love. These platform peep toes are such a statement piece and are simply amazing. Pair these with your LBD and make everyone drool over your shoes.
The colorblocking trend is hot right now! It is an fierce trend and is perfect for your fall wardrobe. I love how I can spice up my look with a colorblock dress, handbag, or jacket. Remember to make the color block your statement piece. The only rule to this trend: there is no rule, use whatever and however many colors you want!

Forever 21, La Style Clique

This is post is for Forever 21's La Style Clique.
My style can be described in two words; classy and chic. Being an ice skater we have glitzy, over the top outfits. When I dress in 'street clothes' I want them to be classic and professional. I am not a huge fan of jewelry, I'd rather my clothes do the talking then for my jewelry to be the main attraction. My style and personality go together; put together and professional but there's a fun side to it as well.

This is a Forever 21 romper with a black blazer from Kohl's. I added a silver bangle and black strappy heels to accessorize this outfit. I love this outfit because it is professional but trendy. The pop of color is perfect and the zipper gives it a more edgy feel. I am obsessed with using a black blazer to make my outfit more classic and it turns any outfit into a more sophisticated style. The black heels make this outfit sexier and the bangle is a simple accessory. This outfit is perfect for a party or even for a date.

This dress is from HM and is accessorized with a Forever 21 belt and wedges. This dress is light and airy which makes it perfect for summer. As soon as I tried this dress on I was obsessed with it. From the lace floral detailing to the tiered layers it makes it feminine yet chic. My favorite color to wear during the summer is white because of the fact that it brings out my tan and this dress hits right above the knee so I can still show off my legs. This dress is perfect for a picnic, summer BBQ, or even a walk on the beach at sunset.

The fuchsia blouse and black pencil skirt are both from HM. I put an a pair of black peep toe heels to keep the look put together and heels are always a sexy accent. The skirt is very tight and hugs ever curve. Since the skirt is tighter I put on a blousier top to balance out the outfit. When you have a tighter piece you need something looser to keep you looking classy, not trashy. I love this outfit because you're not showing to much skin but it still has that sexy vibe to it. I love that I can show off my curves and booty without it screaming "look at my body". This outfit is perfect for a nice dinner, party, or even a mocktail hour (since I am underaged!).

These plum shorts are from HM and the shirt with the flower appliqué is from Target. I accessorized this outfit with nude, strappy wedges and three bangles. The shirt is longer so I tucked it in for a more polished look. This outfit reminds me of spring and when the flowers are coming into bloom and the colors are to die for. I love that I am finally wearing colors opposed to my typical black and grey outfits. This outfit is perfect for hanging out with your friends, walking the boardwalk, and even going out for ice cream with a special someone.

The shorts are from Forever 21 and I am wearing a tight cardigan from Kohl's as my top. I accessorized the outfit with black tong flip flips, a glass blown bracelet, and a necklace. The bracelet is glass blown and hand made in Bermuda. The necklace is actually long but it got a huge knot in it so I used the knot as a statement for the necklace. Tribal prints are a hot trend right now and I love the black and white print in these shorts. I made the shorts high waisted so I could make my legs look supermodel long. The top is actually a tight fitting cardigan that buttons up the front. The deep V-neck does show off my décolletage and gives the outfit some va-va-voom. This outfit is perfect for going out for a quick bite to eat, a Starbucks run with the girls, or even a movie date.

Cutout one pieces!

Hello!
Summer is in full swing with tan lines visible, no responsibilities, and you're beginning to die from heat stroke. One staple for summer is the swimsuit. Wherever I go all I see is girls in bikini's and the occasional one piece or tankini. Every girl is wearing one of those three swimsuits but I want to be fashionable even if I'm just working on my tan or swimming. I am loving the cutout one piece. It is perfect for the girl that may be a little self-conscious but is so sexy and you can still show skin. I am loving how I can transform my cutout bathing suit into my outfit and turn it into a top. Sexy, fashionable, and multipurpose. J'adore!

This DSQUARED2 cutout is a splurge piece and goes for $450. I love the bandage look on this and how the strips meet in the middle at the strapped circles. I am loving the rushed look on this as well. It is throughout the bust, through the bottoms, and going from the hips to the back and into the booty area. I love how you don't have to show much skin but this is super sexy.

This Asos cutout goes for $51.72. Frills are a huge accent and this has it in the front and back. I love how girly the frills make an outfit and how it draws attention to the best areas. I love the circles on the hips to add an accent to the bottoms so the attention isn't fully on top.
This cutout goes for $108. I am loving this crochet cutout especially in this white color. This isn't a typical swimsuit and I have never seen anyone with anything similar. The silver ring in the center is a cool touch of hardware too. I am just in love with the crochet detailing and is perfect to wear with cutoff jean shorts and jewelry for after hours.

This Asos cutout goes for $51.72 and comes in black and white. I love the simplicity of this swimsuit and it has a more classic look. Even though it is simple it is defiantly sexy with the low cut v-neck and the open back. I love open backs and this swimsuit is no exception. The double rings and the multiple straps are hot. This is perfect for the girl that wants to stand out but not for how outrageous she looks.
This River Island cutout goes for $46.53. This is perfect for the girl that has some edge and is daring enough to wear prints. I love the asymmetrical shape to the swimsuit and the abstract print. The strap does come off so this can be a bandeau style top.

This Tavik cutout goes for $206.87. This print is insane from the coral/ black animal print and the black/white abstract design. These two prints seem a bit opposite but work together especially the black tie that ties them together, literally. I love the shape and cutouts of this swimsuit especially since you have cutouts on the front, side, and back. I have never seen anyone wearing this and it is defiantly a statement piece.

This Tavik cutout is on sale for $137.91. Technically, there are no cutout but the lace detailing does show some skin. Lace has been a hot trend this year and this is perfect way to incorporate that trend with a splash of lace without it being over the top. I love that it only has the one strap and how there's rushing on the bust from where the strap comes from.

This Free People cutout goes for $168. I am loving the X design on this swimsuit and how simple it is. The deep V-neck gives you cleavage and the knot in the center will still allow you to show off those abs.

This Free People cutout goes for $218. First, I love this pink and gray color combination. Second, I love how deep the slit goes down in the front and how it has the low, open back. This is the perfect look for the girl who likes to look more sporty yet fashionable. This swimsuit makes everything covered but gives you a hint of the body.

This Zimmermann cutout is on sale for $241.50. I love how sexy this swimsuit is and how it looks like lingerie but is really meant for the water. It is a basic silhouette but the details are stunning. You have the mesh paneling on the sides, the lace detail, and even a belt. This is perfect for bustier women since it has the underwire. I am loving this bathing suit!!

This VPL swimsuit goes for $175. This reminds me of a Herve Leger swimsuit without the price tag! It has the tight bandage look which looks great on. I love the thin straps over the stomach and maybe it'll even give you the illusion that you have a tight six pack. This is perfect to show off your body while not having to bear it all.

This Rosa Cha cutout is another splurge piece at $391. I love how retro and girly this swimsuit feels. The sweetheart neckline has the black/white boy and from there we go into the black middle and the black/white striped sides. The cutouts on the side and the open back make this have some va-va-voom to it. Another favorite piece to the belt, it is the perfect accent to this swimsuit.
http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446392803&R=474216747958&P_name=Rosa+Cha+Swim&sid=130F9BF35CC6&Ntt=swimsuit&N=0&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374306418051&bmUID=j3XmT6B
As you can see the cutout one pieces are hot and that's not just from the temperature! They are perfect for being able to show a peek of skin and you're still able to be sexy without having to it all on display. I love how many different silhouettes, cutout designs, and styles can be found in these swimsuits. Warning, with all these cutouts you will have some cray-cray tan lines! Rock a cutout this summer and see how much of a fashionista you can be.
