Wedges!!

Hello!
The summer heat is creeping up on us and the winter wadrobes are have long been hidden in the back of our closests. One of the great things about summer is you can stop hiding behind your socks and get to wear those cute open-toe shoes. My favorite shoes for this summer are wedges! They are super adorable yet super chic. I love that the heel will give my booty and thighs a nice lift but the platform let's me be able to walk in them and pretend to be the next Gisele. They are perfect for summer parties or just hanging out with friends! J'adore!
These Jeffrey Campbell wedges go for $199. These shoes are ridiculous, bananas, and any other adjectives that mean insane. These are a more high fashion version of an oxford. Oxfords have come back into style but this takes it up a notch. There's a cutout from the heel to the instep which makes it tres daring. Warning, these shoes may make a statement but they look painful! Wear at your own risk!!

These Jeffrey Campbell wedges are on sale for $99. I love the rocker boot but feminine look to it. The lace-ups make them feel like boots and add to that rocker side. The cutouts, open toe, and material give it a more feminine side to the shoe. The woven bottom keeps it in the 'wedge' family though. These will make any outfit look that much sleeker.

These wedges go for $148. I love the lemon yellow color and it will add a pop of color to your outfit. The flower on top gives it a girly touch and florals are always cute. Add these to a dress to make it girly or to shorts and plain t-shirt to make it the shoes your standout piece.

These wedges go for $120. These are your glam shoes and a perfect for parties or glitzing up an outfit. I love the lace-ups to gives you the feel of a ballerina. I am a fan of sparkles and the top has that without going overboard or being tacky. These can be your summer night shoes and worn with a skirt for date night or dress for a party.

These Peplos wedges go for $168. These shoes are super cute! The woven fabric is a perfect twist with the woven bottom. I love how they cover your ankles and is perfect to hide cankles or bug bites (I have a ton on my ankles now!). The buckle on the side is a perfect touch and gives it a more modern feel. These are the perfect accessory to make a statement piece to our outfit.

These Guess shoes for for $110. These are your going out wedges and are a bit more sophisticated. I love how the black version is very sleek and shiny while the gold is sparkly and fun. The ruffle on the toe gives it a fun touch and glams up the shoe. These are perfect with your LBD or party dress.

I just got these shoes last week and paid $17! This is such a steal and they are so cute. I love the colors and they go with anything. The crisscross in front is a nice touch and the heel to platform isn't to steep. Another plus, they are really comfortable and fit perfectly. Beware, the heel can be tight, if your heel is bigger then they may be to snug.
These Diba wedges go for $49.95. I am a huge fan of gladiators and I can get the gladiator look in wedge form, love. The metallic pewter is perfect for summer and the metallics are a hot trend. The caged look is super sexy and the 4.5in heel ups the hotness. These are perfect for a party or a shorts and midriff showing t-shirt.

These Jeffrey Campbell heels go for $192. I love the unexpected features with these shoes and how unique they are. You have the white leather, woven side, side cutout, and snakeskin heel. These shoes are perfect for the boho chic girl or the rocker girl. The boho girl can wear it with a long skirt and cutoff t-shirt or the edgier girl can wear acid wash jean shorts and graphic t-shirt with long button down over it.

These Boutique 9 wedges go for $150. I LOVE these wedges and need to get them. They come in cherry red, black, and mauve, personally love mauve best. The band encloses all crisscrossing and add a sexy vibe to them. These shoes are a bit more sophisticated and perfect for a summer wedding. Warning, these 4.25in heel have no platform and may be painful standing all day!

These MIISTA wedges for for $198. I love these shoes because of their uniqueness and i haven't seen anyone in them. I love the different feels from the woven string to the huarache. They remind me of sexy moccasins, more modern of course. These are perfect with almost anything from a floral skirt to jean shorts.

These wedges are from HM and are $49.95. I love how these aren't the traditional wedges and they are a bit more of a heel. The fake leather with the straw trim brings it back their 'wedge' roots. The straps add some extra sass to it and the backing is perfect to make sure your heels stay on the whole night. Wear this with a cute sundress/ dress or jeans.
 http://www.hm.com/us/product/81732?article=81732-A

These wedges go for $162. These wedges are for my edgy girl or the punk rocker. These black leather wedges are sick especially with the 4.5in platform. The slashed leather gives it more of a grunge look. and the zipper in the back gives it a super sexy feel. Wear these with cutoff shorts or even a dress to edge it up.

*I die* These Valentino wedges go for $575. These are our splurge piece and is something to lust over.  I love all the thin straps on top and how it comes straight down to the toe. The flower detail has a nice floral yet girly touch. I love the nude coloring and will make your legs look longer.

*I die* These Alexander McQueen shoes go for $3495. These are a super splurge shoe and these shoes are insane. McQueen is known for their outrageousness and these shoes don't disappoint. Most wedges have the woven or wood look but this has a gold figurine! I love how unexpected this shoe is and how crazy yet awesome these shoes are. These shoes may not be the most practical for your everyday adventures but these shoes will give people something to talk about. Beware, the heel is 5.5in!!

*I die* These Stuart Weitzman wedges are $375. These shoes are HOT! The glitter make them sophisticated and rich. The double buckle is an added touch and unexpected since you usually only get one buckle. I love how it goes a bit higher and covers part of the ankle but the rest of your foot is exposed. These can be used as a statement piece, dress up a plain outfit, or to go out.

As you can see wedges are hot and that's not just from the summer heat! There are so many different styles, heights, and colors to choose from. You can go for a pop of color, add the glam with sparkles, or keep them nude and classy. I love that I can pair them with shorts or a dress and still look hot. These shoes give you the sexiness of a heel but the platform makes you be able to walk in them. These shoes make you want to stomp it out and work it like Gisele. I love wedges and can't wait to work them this summer! I already have one pair and I'd defiantly getting more next shopping trip!!

Skating wear to street clothes!

Hello!
Being an ice skater we have to wear this ridiculously tight outfits that, trust me, don't look great on everyone. For practice we have on shirt/ tank and shorts/ pants. When you have to go out after practice people will give you looks for our outfits and I've even gotten comments. You can pick one piece from your practice outfit and turn it into an outfit for after! Super cute without having to change into a new outfit.

                                                                    Staple: Leggings-
Steal: Discount dance, $14.95
http://www.discountdance.com/view_catalog.php?pid=4950&SID=248936371
Splurge: Valentino, $990
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod117160061&catId=#
Black leggings are almost all skaters wear to practice. Leggings are a hot trend and super comfortable. To make them 'street wear', put on a longer, flowy top so you can balance out the tight bottoms. Roll up the bottom of the pants to make them capris with a cute tank top for summer. You can even put on a blazar as long as there's no white spots on your pants from falling so much!

                                                       Staple: Graphic shirt-
HM, $12.95
http://www.hm.com/us/product/84180?article=84180-A
HM, $9.95
http://www.hm.com/us/product/80621?article=80621-A
Ever skater wears a graphic shirt on the ice to mix it up from a sports top of solid shirt. They're fun and everyone loves to read the sayings. This is an easy change to wear this on the ice and change into jeans or a skirt afterwards. In the winter I love wearing a graphic t-shirt with a long sleeve underneath to keep me warm. These are perfect to layer with another shirt or a hoodie. Simple and easy!

Staple: Black tights-

HM, $9.95
http://www.hm.com/us/product/81037?article=81037-A
On the ice we'll wear black tights with our dresses or with shorts. They add an edge to the typical nude/ orange tights we usually wear. After practice pair your tights with a cute little dress and flats/ heels. Edge up a skirt with black tights and make your legs look skinnier.

                                                  Staple: Scarf-
Spend: Club Monaco, $59
 http://www.shopbop.com/violet-crinkle-scarf-club-monaco/vp/v=1/845524441896629.htm?fm=search-viewall-shopbysize&colorId=13671
Diane Von Furstenberg, $230
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod113180030&catId=
I love wearing scarves on the ice and they keep me super warm. Go for the shorter, tighter version for skating or the longer, poncho style for coaching. Put the shorter scarf with a tight shirt and boyfriend jeans. Pair the longer scarf with leggings or dark skinny jeans. A scarf is an accessory so don't go overboard with the outfit!

                                                           Staple: Leotard-
Discount Dance, $18.85
http://www.discountdance.com/dancewear/style_N9001.html?pid=4598&Shop=Style&SID=248942022
 Bloch, $59.09

I love skating in leotards. They are super sexy and they're so many different variations. I wore a strapey backless leotard with a skirt and it was totally cute. Wear them with boy friend jeans and show off some skin. They are a bit peculiar but this can be an upcoming fashion trend!

                                                                  Staple: Jeggings-

http://www.discountdance.com/dancewear/style_FF209.html?pid=8841&Shop=Style&&skey=tights&search=true&SID=248938830
 Vero Moda, $36.96

Jeggings are the hottest alternative to jeans. They're more comfortable and easier to move in. I have seen a few skating companies use the jegging looks and it can be cute. This is perfect for going out after since you have your 'jeans' on already. Jeans can be worn with anything and you can use your jeggings to play up any outfit.

                                                   Staple: Shorts-

http://www.shopbop.com/vintage-shorts-monrow/vp/v=1/845524441895918.htm?fm=search-viewall-shopbysize
I love wearing shorts on the ice especially during the summer! The keep it a bit cooler and it's always great to show off some leg. Make sure your shorts are moveable so it's more comfortable to skate in! Pair your shorts with a tank afterwards to make it casual. Put on a cute little sweater for cold weather!

Staple: Leg warmers-
 Ugg Cable leg warmers, $52.63
http://us.asos.com/UGG-UGG-Cable-Leg-Warmers/vila2/?iid=1318346&SearchQuery=leg%20warmers&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=-1&sort=-1&clr=HeatherGrey&mporgp=L1VnZy9VZ2ctQ2FibGUtTGVnLVdhcm1lcnMvUHJvZC8.
Discount Dance, $8.95
I love wearing leg warmers on the ice! They keep you so warm and are totally cute. These have been trying to get on trend for years now but I love them. Wear them over skinny jeans to keep your legs warming. Pair them with a skirt to give it a new vibe. Use a flair skirt with a tighter top and leg warmers. These look better with heels or higher boots so your legs don't look short or cut them off.

Staple: Fitted shirt
 Steal: Asos, $14.77
http://us.asos.com/ASOS-ASOS-Bardot-Short-Sleeve-Crop-Top/vp3yx/?iid=1471884&cid=4718&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black&mporgp=L0Fzb3MvQXNvcy1CYXJkb3QtU2hvcnQtU2xlZXZlLUNyb3AtVG9wL1Byb2Qv
  Asos, $36.93

When I skate I need to wear tight shirts so it doesn't bother me and I'm not fussing with it the whole time.  Fitted shirts are great for street way since they show off your body. Pair them with shorts, boyfriend jeans, or even a skirt and belt. I love these two tops because the one has back cleavage which is super hot. The other shows mid-driff so you can show off some stomach or pair it with a longer shirt to keep it casual and so you don't show to much skin.

Staple: Turtleneck-
 Steal: Asos, $27.70
 http://us.asos.com/ASOS-ASOS-Cable-Knit-Roll-Neck-Sweater/vj22d/?iid=1264796&SearchQuery=turtleneck&Rf-700=1000&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=-1&sort=-1&clr=Cream&mporgp=L0Fzb3MvQXNvcy1DYWJsZS1Lbml0LVJvbGwtTmVjay1KdW1wZXIvUHJvZC8.
 Splurge: Donna Karen, $2495
ttp://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod132140051&catId=
I love skating in turtlenecks since they give me warm and they have this cozy yet sexy vibe. I can wear a longer, slouchier one to coach in or a tight fitting one to skate in. Pair the slouchy sweater with leggings, skinny jeans, and some boots. The tighter sweater add shorts or skirt with tights, jeans, or pants. Don't make your bottoms to tight though so it balances out the tight top. Keep your outfit simple though, don't OD on accessorizing!

Staple: Hoodie-
 Diesel, $150.49
http://us.asos.com/Diesel-Diesel-Marl-Cropped-Zip-Thru-Sweat-Top/w3odv/?iid=1514059&SearchQuery=hoodie&Rf-700=1000&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Mint&mporgp=L0RpZXNlbC9EaWVzZWwtTWFybC1Dcm9wcGVkLVppcC1UaHJ1LVN3ZWF0LVRvcC9Qcm9kLw..
 Superdry, $120
When we warm up we have to wear jackets since it's so cold but hoodie's are soo much more comfortable! Some coaches don't like kids wearing them so be warned. After practice pair your hoodie with a t-shirt and shorts. Put on skinny jeans and ankle booties to edge it up. Layer up your hoodie with long sleeve folded up (second pic) or just put it over clothes to keep the chill out.

Staple: Poncho-
 Patterson J. Kincaid Milano, $118
 http://www.shopbop.com/milano-poncho-patterson-j-kincaid/vp/v=1/845524441902824.htm?fm=search-viewall-shopbysize

 Splurge: Donna Karen, $1195
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod133100087&catId=
Most skaters can't wear ponchos since they are to baggy to skate in but they are perfect for coaches. We wear so many layers we need some breathing room but we still need to keep warm. They are perfect for street wear since they can keep you warm on chilly days and can be classy or casual. Pair with cutup jean shorts and a tank for a casual look. Black skinny jeans and lace up heels for classy touch. Skirt and tights to make it sophisticated. Or just throw it over an outfit as your jacket until you can show off your real outfit.
                                                        Staple: Vests-
 Splurge: Donna Karen, $3800
Vests are my love for skating in instead of jackets. They keep me warmer and not many people wear them. There are so many different kinds from (faux) fur, the bubble, leather, and fleece. Take this as your coat for your street wear or make it part of your outfit. I love wearing it with a solid color fitted t-shirt or even a long tank top. You can even pull it off with a dress! Wear leggings with a longer vest or just skinny jeans. A festive vest with fur, pockets, buttons, or zippers, can act like an accessory!

Being a skater you think your stuck to those black stretch pants and tank with a long/ short sleeve t-shirt layered over and a jacket for warmup. I love being able to wear half my skating clothes out so I don't have to change and don't have to bring so many extra bags of clothes to change into! It makes life that much easier and you can get more use out of your clothes. Easy and sylish! J'adore!!

Jumpsuits!!

Hello!
Since our last post was about rompers, I think we have to do their older sibling; Jumpsuits!! This style staple can be called jumpsuits, jumper, playsuits, one piece, or even a unitard. I am such a fan of jumpsuits and love them! Who doesn't love the convenience of being able to put on one piece and that acts as your pants and top. I admit,, some jumpsuits are not the most flattering on some shapes so be warned! Jumpsuits are a bit different then rompers because your legs are covered so you may want to add that pump to push up the booty and elongate the legs. Even put on same gladiators to make it more boho and casual. Leather jackets add an edge, statement jewelry blings it out, and a belt adds to your look. Simple, easy, and super chic!
This Kimchi Blue jumpsuit goes for $69. Love the pleating on the chest and since it goes horizontal it'll elongate your torso. Another plus is the belt which will cinch in the waist and the side bows add a girly touch. This moss color will look great with gold and silvery jewelry and gladiator sandals. Perfect for a breezy night!

This Kimchi Blue jumpsuit goes for $69. The V-neck is perfect to show off some cleavage and the tiny straps give some shoulder. I love the buttons down the front since it makes it more casual and gives it a "I'm not trying to look insanely hot vibe". Another plus, the back! It has back cleavage and the open back with the tie up top is sexy. Add a leather jacket to make it edgy or heels to make it sexy.
http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=20765764&color=060&itemdescription=true&navAction=jump&search=true&isProduct=true&parentid=SEARCH+RESULTS

Play this up with heels or put saddle shoes to make it totally 50's!

This Marc Jacobs jumpsuit goes for $1300. This is an "I die" look. This look is totally retro, 70's but so stylish. The deep V-neck and racer back are hot! The wide legs can hide bigger legs and the pockets are great. I love this print in the orange color especially since the belt is pink print. I'm in love with this belt! It is a statement piece, as if this jumper needed more oomph!
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod122420135&catId=#

This 3.1 Phillip Lim jumper goes for $1100. "I die"! I had to add this for my love of sequins and sparkles. I love how most of your skin is covered but the back is open which makes nice back cleavage. Another nice detail is the banded belt which breaks it up so you don't look like a gold chandelier. With this you have to make sure that you keep everything minimal since the dress is very standout.
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod117420050&catId=

This Alice + Olivia jumpsuit goes for $440. I love how simple and clean this look is. It is perfect for the office or a sleek occasion. I love the high waisted, wide leg pants to give you that retro look but the tan color makes it more professional. The top is amazing with the plunging back and front, back and boob cleavage! The draping on the top makes it stunning and elegant. The snakeskin belt edges it up and adds some flair to it so it isn't so office ready.
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod128920113&catId=
This is an "I DIE". This Gucci jumper goes for $1995. I love the color blocking and the black pants are sleek with the azure belt and jade top. In love with this color combo and these jewel tones look great on everyone. This is very sleek and looks great on a long, lean body type. I love how it's such a great V-neck but everything else is covered so it makes it sophisticated, not slutty. Love!! (just not the price tag!)
http://beta.neimanmarcus.com:80/store/product.jsp?itemId=prod122280117&catId=

Love these jumpsuits!! They all come with so many different varieties and vibes which is perfect for every style. Be careful with jumpsuits though, certain ones don't look great on every body type! Make sure you get one that accentuates your best features. Boobs ruffles are anything up top, legs tighter pant fit, waist get a cinch waist or belt. Jumpsuits look great with heels since they lift your tush and make your legs look much longer. They can look good with flats but be careful it doesn't cut off your legs and make them look shorter! Jumpsuits are stylish and easy to wear!
