Sparkles and Sequins!!

Hey!
One of the hottest trends for the holiday seasons are sparkles! Sequins and sparkles are the hottest rage to bring some shine to your outfit. Sparkles are in every clothing and accessory imaginable from bags to jumpsuits. I love anything that's crystalized or sparkles so I am loving this trend! Unfortunately, swarovki crystals can be a bit much to put on every outfit (never mind how expensive!)Be careful, sparkles and sequins can be overkill. Keep it classy!
These House of Damar Madde shorts are on sale for $99.99. I love how these shorts only have sequins on the front so they don't overwhelm your bottom half. Another fun thing is that these are knit shorts to keep you warm in these winter months. Wear these shorts with pumps, black tights, and a blazer to be picture perfect.

This Silence and Noise bomber jacket goes for $89. This jacket comes in silver and gold. I love how unique this jacket is with the shape and the three quarter length sleeve. These metallic colors are so on trend as well. This jacket is a twist on a typical blazer which is a fun way to mix up your outfits.

This Free people button down is on sale for $89.95 and comes in ivory (pictured) and black. I love button downs because they are so easy and classic. The sequins make it pop and kick some spice to your classic button down. Use the ivory shirt with skinnies and boots or the black with a maxi skirt and wedges.

These Asos pants are on sale for $59.09. These pants are high waisted with a tapered leg. I am loving these pants! They are perfect to add some sparkle to your day outfit and are perfect to wear for a night out. Pair with black pumps and a simple tank and blazer for day and add a statement necklace for night.

This Free People cutout one piece goes for $315. This shows that sequins can be put on everything! This is a sneak peak for summer swimsuit season. And maybe a reminder to put down the holiday cookies!

This Michael by Michael Kors jumper is on sale for $279. I am such a fan of jumpsuits and the sequins make it so glam. I love the proportions of this with the harem pants but then they are tight at the bottom. Since it is all sequins it can be overwhelming so it add the belt or maybe a vest/ jacket to tame it.

This Deux Lux backpack is on sale for $49.99. It comes in black and rainbow. Backpacks are great for school and travel so this is perfect to be on the move and be accessorized chicly. I personally love the black because it looks so sophisticated and expensive.

This Michael by Michael Kors retails for $398. This is the perfect satchel or pocketbook. I love how this bag isn't one seasonal. I can wear this during the winter with my all black outfit or during the summer with a dress and wedges. It is the perfect size with 11"H x 14"W x 7 1/2"D.

These Christian Louboutin's go for $1075. These are (one) of my dream pairs of shoes. These 6.5in heel are insane! Plus they sparkle, love. What more could a girl ask for? Well, besides a price reduction!
A more affordable option then the Louboutins are these Miss KG heels. They are on sale for $122.72. These peep toe have all the glitter without the price tag. Budget friendly and cute!

This Free people dress goes for $258 and comes in black and rose gold. I love how this dress mixes it up with the three quarter length sleeve but is still sexy with the shorter hemline. My favorite part of this is the cutout in the back. (We all know I go bananas for back cleavage!) This is the perfect dress to party in the new year with!

This Mark+James by Bradgley Mischka goes for $295. I LOVE this dress! The V-neck is totally sexy but the sash/bow is totally feminine. My favorite part is the skirt with the sequins that look like they are in some design. It is the perfect mix of elegance and fierceness.
http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod137650029&eItemId=prod137650029&cmCat=search&searchType=MAIN&parentId=&icid=&rte=%252Fsearch.jhtml%253FNo%253D0%2526Ntt%253Dsequins%2526_requestid%253D56038%2526N%253D0%2526va%253Dt
This Parker dress is on sale for $216.60. I really love how flowy this dress is and then it has the elastic waist. The must unexpected part of the dress is the spaghetti straps and then you turn around to have a racer back. A simple party dress with a lot of impact!

Sequins are in and the perfect way to sparkle this holiday season! They are the perfect way to make an outfit festive or just to be even more glam. Remember, sequins and glitter can be tacky. You don't want to resemble a a glitter glue gun or a disco ball! Keep it classy and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Much love and happy holidays!

Flats in a vending machine?

Hey!
Fashion lovers rejoice: you can now buy flats in a store, online, and now in vending machines. Here I thought vending machines were just for food! Rollasole now has vending machines that carry flats. These vending machines have only been available in Europe and Australia but are coming across the Atlantic and onto American soil. (Why does it feel like America is the last to try these amazing trends?!) The first to try out these vending machines are Vanity Nightclub and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Don't worry party goers, this vending machine will be appearing appearing in nightclubs through Las Vegas and Los Angeles within the coming months. I think we need to petition this company to get this machine in every major city! You can even custom design your own vending machine to be in a nightclub, concert hall, stadium, or conference center.
I may not be part of the club scene yet but I do know what it is like to have on killer shoes with no alternatives. If your walking around the city in heels the blisters and marks on your feet experience can be scarring (literally). Then there's the time that your shoes are uncomfortable and you are at the point of walking the streets barefoot due to pain. These shoes are only $19.95 and simplistic to be able to go with any outfit Even better, they roll up to be able to put in your bag as emergency comfy shoes. Now pop some money into a vending machine and out comes a pair of shoes just like magic. The greatest part is shoes are less calories then that bag of chips or candy bar ;p.

Econ paper!

Hello!
Today, I am doing something a little different then my normal 'hottest fashion'. This post does involve fashion but it was for a school project. I want to share this with everyone so hopefully in a few years I can look back on this and get inspiration to make it happen or maybe it will have already happened and I can be proud of my accomplishment.
I am currently a junior in high school and I am taking honors economics. We had to do a project as if we were a budding entrepreneur and think of a product we'd like to produce. You had to go into details on what it is, how it's packaged, prices, where it would sell, how you'd advertise, who would buy the item, and how you would produce the item. My first thought when I read this was fashion. If you know me personally then you know I love everything bedazzled. I've had people offer to pay me to bedazzle their accessories and say that I should start my own company. This was the perfect opportunity to start a business plan in a non-serious way and hopefully get an easy A on my project. I want to share with you my 'business plan' aka my econ project. I want feedback if you'd be interested in buying something from this line if I ever started this line. Or if you know anyone to make collection happen! *This is my own work. Please do not take this and plagiarize it for your own use! Thanks*

"From a young age I have had a love for fashion, over the years this love has turned into an obsession. My mission is to start a bedazzled accessory collection. We will have a line of accessories from shoes to cell phone cases that are engrossed with Swarovski crystals. Some accessories will have designers, others more simplistic, but all will be fabulous. Every crystal will be hand done with special precision. Every piece has a bedazzled heart so make sure you look out for this signature design. Every piece of the line comes in a white sparkly box with our logo appearing in crystals diagonally inscribed across the box. The line ranges in prices due to the amount of crystals and time put into each piece. We only use the best materials for our customers and our designs only contain Swarovski crystals. We aim to appear like a high fashion company without their exorbitant prices. These accessories will soon be out in major department stores or you can purchase them through our website.
My inspiration for this line comes from my obsession for bedazzling. I have bedazzled many of my own objects to many envious stare and awe. I want others to be able to have jaw dropping accessories that everyone wishes they could have. To be able to bedazzle an object can take hours which most people don’t have. Instead, these shoes give you the look you want without those time consuming hours glueing on crystals. Fashion should be universal and I want to be able to share my fashion secrets with the world. Accessories make an outfit and these can make your outfit sparkle (pun intended).
The person I envision in the collection is a of course someone who loves bling, a fashionista, and someone who isn’t afraid to test the limits of fashion. A completely bedazzled shoe is a show stopper and draws attention so the women needs to have confidence to pull off the look. In this collection there is no age range, a teenager or middle age women could pull off a pair of bedazzled heels for different occasions.  A teenager may want a fully bedazzled phone case while an older women may want a phone case with just crystal accents. A person would buy from the collection because they love fashion and want to enhance their wardrobe or fashion collection. A women can never have to many accessories. No matter what your dad or husbands bank account says you can always use another accessory! The benefit of fashion is that when you look good, you feel good and radiate from that. Getting complimented on your bedazzled heels is a definate confident booster and makes you feel great. When you feel your best you are the happiest in life. Also, your boyfriend won’t always be there but your accessories always will and always make you look good. Our accessories will make you fall in love, you may even be tempted to marry them!
For fashion, it is all about whether the customer likes your product enough to buy it. You need to get the word out about your product so that people become interested. The best way to get publicity for our product is to send our accessories to celebrities so that they wear them out and get photographed in them. Once a celebrity endorses or wears a product it gets instant buzz and every fan wants it. Once one person is rocking fashion then someone will ask where that person got it and want it for themselves. This is the start of the use of word of mouth in motion.  We’ll have advertisements around the web to catch the buyers attention especially on fashion sites. Social media is the best way to get your product out to the public. Having a twitter account with updates and a Facebook page will get attention from the millions of people that use these sites daily. The catchphrase, “Diamonds are a girls best friend” will be the main motto of our product.
To produce the collection we would need products to bedazzle on. I would have to work with a company to design and create the products needed. I would be in charge of the design process to make sure they represent our company and the girl we picture in our line. The products will be made in an offsite factory. We would have a workshop in  the NYC area. The factory will ship the finished product to the workshop. This is where the magic happens and our team of bedazzlers would create their masterpieces. The workplace would resemble more of an unlivable apartment with spacious rooms and modern decorations and furniture. This would be the place where we can have market week so distributers can see the collection and get a feel of what they will want in their stores for the upcoming season. Also, we can have clients come here for consultations and fittings. After the accessory is blinged out to perfection it is sent back to the factory to be packaged and shipped to stores and buyers. Upon purchase the customer can fall in love and strut in their bedazzled creations."

Top trends for winter!

Hello!
For the majority of us the fall/ winter weather has fast appeared. I can't even remember the last time I left the house without a ton of layers on or a jacket on! I've even experienced the first snowfall of the season. With it only being the beginning of these cold months, our fashion needs to look hot to override the frigid temperatures. You don't need a whole new wardrobe to be stylish so here are the nine must haves staples for your wardrobe this winter!
This leather jacket for HM by Versace goes for $299. I am loving leather jackets either to enhance your outfit or keep you warm. This is the perfect way to edge up an outfit and gives you the tough girl vibe. This jacket can be worn all year which is fab!

These Free people boots go for $279. I am OBSESSED with boots right now. Cowboy, leather, booties, knee high, heeled; you name it, I want it! These should be a staple in every girls closet. They're so many options and they look good with nearly everything. Wear your motorcycle boots with skinny jeans or knee high heels with a dress.

(On left) Rachel Zoe blouse for $295 or an affordable version (On right) Lucca Couture for $59. I am loving the bow blouse! Blouses are so chic and feminine but the bow makes it so on trend. Wear it with black pants like Rachel Zoe did or add jean shorts like Lucca Couture. This takes the blouse to an ultra feminine level and still keeps it business savvy.

This fur vest from Ecote goes for $89. Fur vests are a must for the cold weather. Fur is super chic for winter but a vest is more wearable for indoor activities. It is wearable for any outfit and can easily be thrown over anything you have on. Make sure you're wearing faux fur, don't want to upset PETA or kill any animals in the process.

This JCrew scarf goes for $59.50. Scarves have been hot but I am loving them for these winter months. They are perfect for layering and they can add to that simple blazer or Tshirt. Add prints or a solid color and it is the perfect way to layer or spice up an outfit.

(On left) Rachel Zoe Cape (On right) Anthropology cape for $188. I am in love with capes for this season. They are a unique twist on a typical jacket and the shape is awesome. Some capes can even be worn as dresses with tights. This is the perfect outwear for winter!

These are both from Urban Outfitters, the sweater goes for $49 and the shorts are $39. Knits are amazing to keep warm during these cold months. I call this the 'grandma trend' of the oversized sweaters and knits but they are super cute and fashionable. The sweaters are perfect for layering and add tights with a pair of shorts.

These Urban Outfitters tights go for $20. Being an ice skater I love tights and wear them all the time. Now nude and black tights are considered 'boring' (even though I love my black tights!) and the prints and wild colors are what's hot. Pair tights with dresses, skirts, and even shorts. They keep you warm and make any outfit that much cuter.

This HM blazer goes for $49.95. I love blazers for every season. They make an outfit more polished and it looks so sophisticated. It's perfect for the upcoming months as an extra layer or a jacket. Blazers fall into the 'menswear' trend which is super sexy. Blazers, button ups, and boyfriend jeans all fall into meanswear. Be super feminine in what's typically a mans outfit.

Hope these staples end up in your winter wardrobe! Remember layer up, look hot (pun intended), and try to keep warm.

Look for less, Stella McCartney

Hey!
So I was browsing online and came across a dress that I had this emiphany that I saw on a celeb before. So after some quick research I figured out that Kate Winslet wore a similar Stella McCartney dress to the 'Mildred Piere' Premiere. I am all about getting a deal on a look. Finding a dress that looks like a designers is like finding love.

Here is Kate Winslet in the dress.

This is the look from the runway show. (Kate Winslet is wearing a different number, they're both from same line though.)

And here is the knockoff version! This is from Asos and goes for $104.76. Both looks have the black, sweetheart neck, the black poka dot mesh sleeves, and the peplum.

Got to love finding a (designer) look for less!

Perfect outwear for fall!!

Hello!
Fall is officially here. The leaves are changing colors and starting to fall to the ground. Ultimately the temperature have  begun to plummet to the freezing marks. It is time to break out the outwear and brace the freezing temperatures and nipping winds. Here are the cutest jackets for the winter months that are totally chic.
This HM vest with faux fur trim goes for $49.95. It comes in black and beige. I love wearing wearing vests and they are perfect for layering. Pair it with jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt or a sweatshirt and it's totally perfect. Vests are the perfect to wear part of your outwear indoors.

This Pixie Market vest foes for $140. This jacket comes with the faux fur trim and has a quilted pattern. I love how easy this vest is and it is lined for extra warmth. This is the vest that can turn into a layering piece and not just a jacket for warmth.

This Kristen Blake faux fur vest goes for $110. This is taking fur to the next level with a complete fur vest. It is faux fur so PETA won't be all over you. I love the colors and design that is in the fur. The belt is an added bonus to synch in your waist too!

This HM puffer jacket goes for $49.95 and comes in black, blue, and light grey. Puffer jackets are totally adorable and give you extra volume (perfect to hide extra winter flab!). Love how this has the synched in belt to keep you fashionable and highlights your waist.

This BB Dakota Josie jacket goes for $139 and comes in the color pictured. I love this jacket from the shapes to the asymmetrical front, snap enclosures, and belt. This jacket looks a designer jacket without the designer price tag.
This Obey denim jacket goes for $220. Jean jackets should be a fall jacket staple. Some fall days aren't as chilly and you can pull off a jean jacket with an outfit to keep warm. Pair it with a dress, leggings, or sweater+tight combo for perfect look.

This Sparkle and Fade leather jacket goes for $129. Leather jackets are the perfect staple for every season and give you that tough chick vibe. They're the perfect way to edge up an outfit or to seem more bad ass. The asymmetrical zipper makes it an unexpected twist as well.
This Urban 1972 blazer goes for $67. I love blazers and you can pair them with everything to give your look a more sophisticated vibe. For the coming months keep your blazer alive and add a scarf, hat, glove combo to keep warm. Go beyond the black blazer to the cremes, beiges, and even a pop of color.

This Anthropology cape goes for $188. I am dying over caps this season and they are the perfect jacket. I really how this can be turned into a unique twist on a blazer if you undo the buttons and loosen the belt. I don't usually wear colors but this chocolate and mustard color is totally cute. Plaid is always a must for fall so you get two trends in one.

This Ascot swing coat goes for $168. This is the perfect fall jacket and totally reminds me of what Blair would wear on "Gossip Girl". This mustard color gives you a pop of color and totally mixes it up. The bow on top draws your eye up to you (gorg) face, plus bows are hot right now.

This Asos pleated trench is on sale for $61.11. Trenches are great coats especially when the weather isn't in the negatives yet. I love how this trench has the pleated skirt and double breasted buttons. Add a belt and you may just be able to wear this as a dress instead of just a trench!
http://us.asos.com/ASOS-ASOS-Pleated-Skirt-Trench/w0owy/?iid=1467642&cid=11898&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Cream&mporgp=L0Fzb3MvQXNvcy1QbGVhdGVkLVNraXJ0LU1hYy9Qcm9kLw..?MID=35719&affid=2135&siteID=p.E2XVDQFnI-wqeHkEa6B0VwDxejGFJ3lg

This Topshop jacket goes for $159. This wool duffle coat comes in this aubergine color with detachable hood. I really love the wood barrel fastens on it and it reminds me of something off the European countryside.

This Marlene Birger poncho goes for $435. Loving ponchos for this season as well. They are the perfect snuggle outfit, warm sweater, or coverup to throw on. I love the little bow belt in the middle and the pom poms at the bottom. This poncho can be a designer blanket or your comfy poncho. Pair with skinnies or tights+sweater dress combo for perfect fall/winter look.

As you can see there are a ton of varieties of outwear for the upcoming months. With the impending drop in temperatures one must be prepared to fight the cold with the best jackets possible. Get your puffer, poncho, or cape ready!
